Kathryn Ingebretsen Fronk

OGDEN Our beloved mother and grandmother, Kathryn Ingebretsen Fronk, quietly passed away April 18, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Her loving husband, Elwood George Fronk preceded her in death one week earlier. He was always one-step ahead, yet never wanting to go anywhere without her.
Kathryn was born on August 26, 1925 in Ogden to Martha Selena Greenwell and Ben Ingebretsen.
She attended Ogden City Schools, graduating from OHS. She also attended WSC. She was a skilled secretary and bookkeeper.
Mom was an avid genealogist and compiled many family histories. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Primary and Relief Society President of the 28th Ward. She served twice as a LDS Missionary; to Norway as a young sister and with Elwood to New Zealand. They especially enjoyed serving as ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple.
Mom is survived by her children: Jeanne (Gene) Peterson and Dale (LuAnn) Fronk; grandchildren: Jenny (Jason), Julie (Bryan), Jacalyn (BJ), Jessica (Michael), Heather, Natalie (Herbie), Jill and Jodie; great-grandchildren: Emily, Josh, Hailey, Jake, Ryker, Jenna, Addison and Dean; and sister-in-law, Shirley Ingebretsen, Denver, CO.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Harold and Ralph.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Adams LDS Ward, 3755 Porter Ave. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquists Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
