Jean Hillman "Jeannie", 70, of Pleasant Grove passed away April 29, 2012 in American Fork after a six month battle with cancer. She was born November 28, 1941 in American Fork to Guy S. and Rose Cheever Hillman. When Jeannie was four, she lost her hero and sister, Dianne, who was eight. Jeannie attended Pleasant Grove Schools, graduating in 1960. A few years later, she began her lifelong profession of Pharmacy Technology at Story Drug. She later worked at Norton Pharmacy and Smith Rexall where she made a myriad of acquaintances and served many. She was a member of the LDS Church and held many church and civic callings.
Her favorite things were traveling, jeeping in her yellow jeep, attending the Utah Symphony, going to the Huntsville Monastery, and collecting.
She is survived by her brother, Vance Guy (Norma Jean) Hillman sister, Nancy (Carl) Roberts, and nephew, Cory Guy (Kathy) Hillman, niece, Carisa (Kyle) Hoopes, three great-nieces and three great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove where family and close friends may attend a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
