Michael Craig Frost
May 26, 1992 ~ May 28, 2012
Michael Craig Frost, age 20, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at UVRMC of complications from a lingering heart condition. Michael was born May 26, 1992 in Provo, Utah to Craig and Kimberly Frost.
Michael grew up in Spanish Fork where he attended school. He was born with a serious heart defect and had to endure 4 open-heart surgeries, and dozens of other surgeries and hospitalizations throughout his life. He had more than a few close brushes with death, but his Heavenly Father had a plan for Michaels life and didnt call him home until his work here was complete. He performed miracles in Michaels behalf that helped hundreds gain a testimony of the power of the priesthood. Even though he never had the health to be very active physically, he truly loved life and made the very most of the talents and intelligence he was blessed with. He was an insatiable reader. He loved being with friends, just hanging out or playing video games or going to the movies. He loved food, especially his mothers homemade cooking. When he was having a good day, his ear-to-ear smile and boisterous laugh could fill a room and infect anyone with a little extra dose of happiness.
Michael wasnt satisfied with the status quo. Despite his disabilities, he overcame many obstacles and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Rather than wait until he graduated from high school before starting college, he attended college classes concurrently, and received his Associates Degree from Utah Valley University a month before receiving his high school diploma from Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He was not expected to serve an LDS mission due to health concerns, but he was determined to try, and he served honorably at the MTC until his fragile health failed him.
Michael is survived by his parents Craig and Kimberly of Pleasant Grove; three brothers: Zachary, Dillon, and Luke; grandparents: Carol Jean Frost, Provo and William and Luster Shipley, Speedwell, Tennessee and many other loving extended family.

I'm a little bit late to be reading this, but Ace (as he was called on dA) was an amazing, sweet person. I couldn't believe it when I was told he had passed and I actually had to come here just to be sure. It crushed me to see this, but he's in a better place and I send all of my love to his closer friends and family. I'll pray for them.

I never actually met him in person, but I talked to him a lot online... He was one of my best friends, and I deeply respected him... I'm going to miss him, he was the strongest person I had ever known.
