Virginia "Ginger" Beckstead Holland

Brigham City - Virginia "Ginger" Beckstead Holland "Morning", 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home with her family at her side in Brigham City, Utah.
She was born on September 20, 1945 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Este Marlin and Virginia Marcel Hoefluer Collie. She was reared and educated in Ogden, where she graduated from Ogden High School in 1963.
Ginger married Dale Beckstead and from this marriage she had three children, Trina, Tamara and Sean Beckstead. Ginger and Dale were later divorced. She married Jack Holland and they were later divorced.
Ginger worked at the Brigham City Community Hospital as the Emergency Clerk for 13 years and retired. She also was a volunteer with the Brigham City Ambulance and was their secretary where she made a scrapbook for the ambulance department.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing and being with her family.
Surviving are three children, Sean Beckstead, her little special man, Zachery Beckstead both of Brigham City; Tamara Meacham, Willard; Trina Gonzales, Jerome, ID; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis Collie, Gayle Larsen, Arliss Collie and one sister, Judy Cazier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Keith Larsen and one sister, Sandy Simmons.
The family would like to thank Ogden Regional Medical Center staffing, Dr.'s Beard, Dawson and Lish, the staff of Medical Arts Clinic, and Access Home Health and Hospice for their love and attention for our mother.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Gillies Funeral Chapel to offset funeral expenses.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
