Sharlene Leone Lloyd Safford

Sharlene Leone Lloyd Safford, 71, passed away Aug. 28, 2012 in Salt
Lake City, Utah. She was born May 9, 1941 in Murray, Utah to
Melbourne and Clara Leone Brown Lloyd. She married Robert James
Safford, later divorced.
Survived by daughters, Evelyn (David) Anderson, Karen (Alex) Sosa,
Robin (Tony) Thayer, Kimberly (Chris) Black; son, William (Kersten)
Safford; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother,
Darwin (Donna) Lloyd; sisters, Urla Jeane (Arvin) Maxfield, Shauna
(Reynold) Bluemel, Roxanne (Larry) Jentzsch; and mother-in-law,
Florence Simmons. Preceded in death by a son, Robert James Safford,
Jr.
The family would like to express thanks to the Woodland Park Care
Center and Bristol Hospice for their amazing care, and also to the
Crescent 10th Ward.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, at 12 noon at the
Sandy Crescent Stake Center, 10945 So. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah, where
there will be viewings Friday 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday 11-11:45
a.m. Interment, Crescent Cemetery.
