Paul William Clayton, 80, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2012 at home in West Valley City, Utah. He was born February 6, 1932 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William and Nikoline Clayton. He married Cleone Moll on January 9, 1959.
Paul retired from Yesco after 25 years. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors, his passion was fishing, hunting and being out in nature. He loved spending time with his family, grandkids and friends. He took great pride in his yard, spending many hours working in the yard. He had a sense of humor and loved to make a bad situation better by laughing. His number one priority was his wife, they were married for 53 wonderful years and did everything together.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Cleone, children Ione (Sid) Gray, Steven Clayton and Irene (Lee) Scott; Grandchildren Tristan (Koby) Morgan, Sheldon Gray, Eric (Jenny) Gray, Emilie (Jeff) Botimer, Paul J. Clayton, Cara Clayton and Austin Campbell; Great grandchildren Teagun Campbell, Aspen Campbell, Emma Morgan and one on the way. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Billy, Richard and Doug, sisters Wilma and Helen.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the services.
