KAYSVILLE Timothy Roderick Byrd Jr., 31, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 of injuries sustained in a automobile accident.
He was born on September 13, 1981 in Santa Rosa, California the son of Timothy R. Byrd and Tauni D. Cancilla. He was raised in Salt Lake City, moving to Kaysville in December 2003. TJ had a great love for his country. He entered the Army in 2007, was stationed in Georgia and Alaska and served in Afghanistan in 2009 and Thailand in 2010. Timothy returned to Kaysville in 2011 where he has resided.
Timothy married Britney Paver August 13, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Timothy started Moskillz a speed and agility program run out of the Kaysville Sportsplex with his brother and cousin. He also was a personal trainer, football strength and conditioning coach at Viewmont High School and rugby coach at Davis High School.
He loved hunting and fishing. He loved family time, his personal fitness goals, all sports and this man loved NASCAR.
Surviving are his wife Britney Paver Byrd, two sons, Takoa Kapono Byrd, Pono Kawika Byrd, daughters, Alanoelani Willa Byrd, Keile Thalia Byrd, Kaysville; parents, Tauni Lee, Sunset; Timothy R. Byrd, Santa Rosa, CA; in-laws, Don Paver, Tawnia Paver, Kaysville; grandmother, Leilani Cancilla, Orem; brothers, Matthew Byrd, Kaysville; Jaquel Lee, Sunset; Trent Paver, Donny Paver, Kaysville; sister, Liana Dhulst, Fairbanks, Alaska; Kaiisha Lee, Sunset; Somayima Madden, Bainbridge Island, WA; and Amberlyn Paver Coulson, Layton.
Preceded in death by his grandpa Joe Cancilla, cousin David Cancilla and niece Kya De Parker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

I know it's late but I just want to pay my respect to such a sweet soul. I am truly sorry for your loss. He was an awesome soldier and such a great and caring person. We deployed together and he got along with everyone!!! Gone but never forgotten!! We love you TJ!!

T.J. was always a happy and fun man. He stood up for what was right in life and always accepted others how they were. He was a Great man and Friend. He will be missed, but I know we will see him again soon.
