Sutter Jacob VanderDoes returned peacefully to Our Heavenly Father, Saturday, October 16, 2010.

Sutter came into this world July 6, 2009 with a strong spirit and a happy sweet disposition. He endured many trials and overcame them as much as he could fight them. He melted everyone's hearts and was a joy to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him and his sweet spirit.

Surviving are his parents; Jacob and Kimberly VanderDoes, as well as his brother, Michael, and sisters, Angelica and Maelyne. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandpa and Grandma Corbridge, his Great-Grandpa and Grandma VanderDoes, Great-Grandpa Chadburn, two uncles, one aunt and one cousin.

We would like to thank all those that cared for him in his short life including Dr. Berry and her Staff, as well as all the Physician's and nurses that cared for Sutter at Primary Children's Medical Center and The Rainbow Kids Palliative Care at Primary Children's. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up in the name Sutter's Memorial Fund, which can be donated at any Key Bank Branch.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Clearfield 9th Ward Chapel, 838 East 600 South, Clearfield, Utah.

Family and friends may gather Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah and at the church Thursday morning from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
