Roy Edward Minear
January 4, 1935 ~ December 31, 2010
CLINTON -- Roy Edward Minear, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2010.
He was born January 4, 1935 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to William Henry Harrison and Rosalea Hickman Minear.
He attended Roosevelt Wilson High School where he played quarterback for their football team.
Roy married Judith A. Green on April 5, 1975, in Cleveland Ohio.
His hobbies and special interests were hunting, fishing and yard work. He especially loved watching sports on TV and loved working on cars—he was a "grease monkey" and was considered a "jack of all trades."
He is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons: Jeffrey Minear, Roy E. Minear, Jr.; two daughters: Sheryl Debuhr, Victoria Dalrymple; two stepdaughters: Laura Kirby-Ramsey, Karen Stewart; stepson: William Ramsey; brother: Jack Minear; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Minear.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah, where family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to services.
