Deyja Leilani Moses

Deyja Leilani Moses, age 9 years 11 months, passed away on June 12, 2011 in her Daddy’s arms. She was born on June 27, 2001, in West Valley City, Utah to Wendy Joelle Clark and James Ray Moses.
Our dear baby girl is now an angel smiling down on us from heaven. She has finally won the battle of being cancer free and is no longer in pain. She fought as hard as possible to be here longer than she should have for her family.
“Fly free sweet angel we’ll see you soon, Love Mama and Daddy.”
She is survived by: Wendy Clark (mother); James Clark (father); brothers, Juwan Moses and James Moses III; and many other family members. Preceded in death by: James Moses, Sr.; Tom Clark; Alice May Yancy; Joyce Clark; and many other cancer children who Dayja came to know and love.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Welby 5th Ward, 8800 South 4800 West, West Jordan.
Viewings will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. and 1 hour prior to service at the church.
Interment Redwood Memorial Cemetery.

My daughter never got the chance to know her big sister, but Im sure she would have loved her. You never really know what to say to a mother or father who has lost their baby. I am truly sorry she was a beautiful little girl and even though my daughter did not know her big sister personally she will miss her. Again my condolences.
